First pic would work, but they would need to have an option to somehow cloud the panels. If I don't know the person next to me, I don't want to have to stare at them the whole flight.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guarantee that airplane cabins will never be configured like this for general seating.

No way will they use materials that are transparent/translucent or a pale solid color for those partitions or seats, because those would show all of the accumulated filth.

Look for random digitized mixtures of colors, or dark colors, to camouflage what you’re sitting in.

Can you imagine how DISGUSTING those partitions would get if they aren't sanitized between trips?

I've seen what the inside of my car window looks like after my dog rides with me.
