I have an 8 year old kid and we enjoy watching science videos on YouTube. They can be kinda iffy and it’s hard to find good ones. Do y’all know of any channels that show good elementary level vids about biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy?

TIA

Do you not watch 60 minutes? According to science computer/phone/tablet screentime is making our kids retarded.

Sorry I can’t help. If you ever need pornhub channels I’m your man.

For entertainment or actual learning?

If entertainment, just put on myth busters

Kahn academy

Most of the videos I've seen aren't very entertaining, but they cover topics from very basic to pretty complex.

I would give Kurzgesagt a look but that might not be exactly what you are looking for. Still entertaining though.

Also, the Crash Course channel by the Green Brothers is pretty good but might be too advanced.

PBS Eons
Deep Look
Curiosity Stream

Those might be a little advanced for an 8 year old though.

If he likes reptiles, Snake Discovery shows a lot of cool stuff and tries to be educational.

I watch planet earth shows on Netflix. My 4 year old twins are in awe.
Although it only lasts 15 minutes.

Science Max can be annoying but my 5 year old likes watching him. That’s the only one I know of.
