I can see the first press conference
“The sprayers have to execute”
“We have to mulch better”
“You guys are soiled”

But no i can’t trust him do the job he wanted i sure as hell don’t trust him doing any job he doesn’t want
Sure did cliff notes below

-I’m here talking about the same damn thing

-LSU fans are soft

-I need to coach better

-Superior Grill is excellent 10/10 but probably won’t eat there again

If you listened 15 seconds later he also said
usually a bye week they would give them days off
Miles was not in good physical health. Routinely had kidney issues if I remember right and a doctor ordered.
restricted diet.
I worked at lod cook and served football functions. Only egg white omelet, two eggs, and two pieces of turkey bacon is what he could have
They can’t directly fund to NIL. But they can create NEW salary positions that help manage these players Image in order to get them NIL money. As well as contract to firms for different roles in developing players in the NIL space. No that bump in ticket price doesn’t go into players pockets, but make no mistake, the increase in cost to fans is tied into the NIL arena

As someone who knows him I think he had been drunk twice in his life at that point. And that was not one of those times. He is honestly just a goofy dude who thought it would be funny. None of us thought it would end up being that big of a deal but it was everywhere the next day
I saw Trey Holly listed as Out. Maybe I haven’t been paying attention but I don’t remember him being listed at all on previous reports. Was there an update with his case?

Also Jake Ibieta, anyone remember what he was dealing with?
ND won’t get in with 2 losses while not playing a conference championship. Would add fuel to Riley’s argument to end that rivalry if it costs either of them a playoff spot
USC will need have a hell of a season and Big 10 championship appearance to make that loss good enough to move us in. Still a long shot
Doubt he was planning on firing the defensive staff in year two….but that will be judged against him as well.
In all honestly yeah I wanna win it all now! But with this new coaching staff and the potential recruiting class we’re building, I think the most accurate judgement of his abilities with our resources will be in year 5.
He could go 6-6 this year. As long as the 25 class they’re building stays together he’s going nowhere and neither are the coaches recruiting those kids

Bout to be a longggg offseason
While I think the assesment of him this year is fair, I don’t believe you’re identifying the right problem. The issue is not that he can’t pass. The issue is that he won’t. He chooses to hold the ball. I’m not saying he’s gonna be a heisman runner next year but I’m also not saying he’s trash cause he isn’t. A full year and full offseason gives him a better chance to build chemistry and trust. I’m limiting my expectations but at the same with a better O line this year I feel like he will have a shorter leash for not throwing the ball than he did last year.
One can dream anyway.
He’s a frequent caller and I still haven’t figured out if he has committed his life to the bit, or actually a semi-functioning alcoholic that starts his drinking on the drive home if not earlier. But I’m leaning towards the latter.
Coaches are not scouting failed tendency’s like, QB not throwing or Revievers dropping passes. Is it something to mention yeah, but they’re not watching film to say he doesn’t throw well. That doesn’t help a defense prepare. So saying they only have 1 game to scout out passing attack is not accurate. While it’s the best performance to look at, it’s not like those were brand new plays. They were just executed correctly.
Coaches scout schemes not results.
Route concepts not just results of the plays.
While I also doubt these meetings are going to magically add depth to our 1 string roster or magically gift our QB some faith in his receivers/better eyes reading the defense.
I do remember a players only meeting after the 2018 loss at Florida. Can’t remember if Devin white and company kept the team in the locker room for a while or if they had called a Sunday meeting, but the turnaround was a beautiful Georgia stomping the following week. Joe Burrows coming out party.

Yes I know this team is nothing like the 2018 talent but, that is the only instance I can think of a big turnaround after. A players meeting.
