About 20 years ago I was managing a lab in Lafayette and a lady called and asked for me. She was crying. Her husband was offshore and they had returned from a vacation in Mexico about a month prior. They had been attempting to have a baby for a few years but no luck.
They had gone to the beach in Mexico and drank a good bit. The husband left for a few minutes and the Mexican bringing her drinks started putting lotion of her. Well, he had sex with her and she had just found out she was pregnant. She was asking me about potential labwork to see if she could find out about the father before the birth. I helped her as much as I could, which wasn't much. Always wondered what happened with her. I think she just ended up hoping the baby looked more like her than her 1 minute 5 foot 4 inch lover.
