Because debunking it would have been the ultimate cold war propaganda victory, yet we never head a peep from them.

Just think, thousands of people involved in Apollo program for many years. Real people with real jobs, many committing their life’s work, aimed directly or indirectly to get American astronaut on the moon.

A human chain that links through time and to a rocket ship. Many amazingly talented, honest and smart people.

And those who believe Hollywood created the moon landing, same non believing people DO NOT believe that even 1 person of the many thousands in the chain to said rocket…is honest. Not one honest person in those thousands. Not one engineer who dedicated their life to this mission. Not one.

Everyone was in on it? Cmon.

No we did not. Made in Hollywood basement.

Kidding.

Agreed. These posts are the retard finder threads. Anyone who thinks we didn’t go to the moon is living in an alternate reality.

No, no. They're 'edgy' sharp-minded folk who aren't 'sheep'. Moon landing was fake, there's an alien resort in Area 51, the Earth is flat, Japan never surrendered since there was no atomic bomb and microwaves are part of a global conspiracy to kill freedom loving Americans by making the food radioactive.

Personally, I blame the teachers.

Not to the moon they didn’t.
Are you implying the 6 other missions weren't to the moon or is the billiard ball that is your brain malfunctioning?

With modern technology the ability to send rocket that can return and be reused. I would think they could send a modular moon base that could be assembled where low gravity studies could take place. I think it would also be easier to shield space radiation along with creating a jump point to go to mars as the energy needed to escape Earth atmosphere and gravity are enormous

In other news, the moon is fake, 2,500 people fell off flat Earth last night running from bright round thing in night sky.

I find it very odd since we put humans there 56 years ago not a single other country has ever attempted to land one of their astronauts there.

Why is America the only country to do this?

The Cold War era was a time of very strong competition between the US and USSR. Kennedy wanted to be the first to the moon after the USSR was the first to have a man orbit the Earth. Kennedy's killing martyr'd him in various ways, but a major one was to deeply commit the US to the Space Race (the first to put a man on the moon). Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and the vast majority of social welfare programs which burden the federal budget now weren't in existence, meaning we had more money to devote to anything Cold War related.

To move forward a bit, when we got there we discovered the Moon was not only not made of cheese, it's mainly made up of things already common here like silicon, iron, calcium, and aluminum. Had some amazing futuristic technology, solar-harnessing crystals, etc been found then you can bet your hairy arse we would already have constant transport between here and there.

Because of all this, it's simply not as attractive as it once was and that's why we have changed focus to near-Earth manned missions.

Yet the Russians never called us out on it, lmao

And this is the best argument supporting why we did go.

This is the argument I’ve always arrived at. If we were in such a race with the Soviets to make it to the moon and back and we DIDNT actually make it, why did the Soviets slow to a stop in the years after the US made it? Wouldn’t it have been an even bigger win if they could show that the American moon landing was fake? Seems it would have given them MORE incentive to not only accomplish what the US couldn’t but also expose a massive lie. Yet, they essentially slowed their program until they eventually stopped. And if one were to say “they realized it wasn’t possible”, then why haven’t they been beating THAT drum for the last 50 years?

The most plausible explanation is the US moon landing was successful. The Soviets lost and saw that the expense and difficulties in getting there simply were no longer worth it.

It was Stanley Kubrick’s greatest work. Masterpiece. He went to his grave laughing at the American public.

The last moon landing was 53 years ago. The first fake mission was such a success they decided to fake it six more times. They also threw in a faked failed mission just for shits & giggles.

Your question should really be if it's so easy to do, how come we haven't run several faked missions to Mars.

What I find amusing is that the moon deniers always hang their hat on the "fact" that the astronauts could not pass through the Van Allen Radiation Belt, due to high doses of radiation. You know who called bullshite on this?
It was none other than James Van Allen, the physicist who that belt was named after.

Thanks everyone, my kid just got the following video on his YouTube recommends "Why some people believe the moon landing was faked."

Fwiw, it stated that 22% of US adults believed we faked it.
