It's very simple. The left lane is for Passing Only. Period. If you aren't passing someone get the hell over

They were preemptively passing the car entering the interstate at a lower speed rather than getting behind it and having to hit the brakes... It's not that hard.

Left lane cruisers should be dragged through the streets and beaten with metal rods

I don't see how he lost control.
I had a blow out on a front tire recently at 75 and it was just a minor inconvenience.

So many have a hard time keeping a vehicle straight.

I am pretty sure the brake checker committed a felony.

I made a different assumption and it makes perfect sense.

Panic.

The driver was already emotionally compromised with the tailgating.

With an abundance of hp and body armor, I have no issue with rapidly passing and then brake checking the frick out of you should you attempt this.

If there is someone within a mile of your rear while in the left lane, GTF into the right lane.

Ya, being in the left lane doesn't mean you have to be traveling faster than everyone on the road, just have to be passing traffic. If I'm passing a car and am going as fast or faster than the speed limit get off my arse and I'll be getting over as soon as its clear for me to do so.

The people getting up on tail when i'm passing someone but not going as fast as they want me to piss me off. Riding up into my backseat isn't safe for anyone and is more likely to make me go slower than faster (i'll probably just maintain speed and then get over when its safe to do so).

ETA: and getting over into the left lane to allow the oncoming cars the space to merge into traffic is common courtesy

Most TX Freeways are 3 lanes or more. If you are in the far left lane and not going fast as frick you deserve to rot in hell.

frick that brake checker and left lane idlers with a massive AIDs dick.

They could have very easily gotten back into the right lane in front of the merging vehicle, but instead they decided to break the law and stay in the left lane to insinuate a (what could have been) lethal maneuver.

frick those people

It's still vehicular assault.

And it's common courtesy to let the faster moving vehicle pass you before you get in the left lane to pass a vehicle. Some of you are stupid

So is brake checking.

Both done willingly.

How so? The only person that can cause the wreck there is the person in front. The tailgater can likely see in front of that car to realize that the slow left laner wont be stopping.

I dont tailgate people when they go slow in the left lane, but I do flash my lights on and off to tell them to get the frick over

I'm not saying I ever tailgate. But if I did my foot would be ready to brake.
I drive knowing that I have better brakes than most everything around me.
I just bought anther used work van. $2500 for the van. I'll put that much in brakes Abd suspension before I use it.

Not many cargo vans have four piston cross drilled and slotted at all corners.

You think the car riding at 75mph 6 inches off the bumper of the guy in front can't cause a wreck?

Well the faster moving vehicle often comes up from behind while you are passing a line of cars - its the nature of them being the faster moving vehicle.

Some of you are just impatient

So you don't have the awareness to see the vehicle is moving quickly before you get over? They dont pop out of thin air
