Maybe try lunch at Central Station Grill. It's supposed to be good. Plenty of Sonics too so if picking a fight is your thing Oktibbeha County is the place for you.

Favorite two places to eat in the area are Commodore Bobs and Anthony’s in nearby West Point.

Westpoint is a town over and has some of the nicest golf courses in the southeast. The country club has several restaurants/bars as well.

Well if you're there till football season, there's something to do. If not, I dunno. Last time I went it was a dry county so you can't even get ripped.

Two brothers is good, check it out, there are few other spots in that same area. Recently they got a mexican restaurant up there.
