If parents, then it was obvious your mom bought them intentionally to test you. She is jealous of the relationship you have with you father.
If husband and kids, it means they resent you for making them live with in-laws/gparents they love the least.

One a day is a reasonable amount. How have they resisted having even 1? Their problem. It takes great restraint to not eat the whole box in one day. You’re doing great.
