I’m impressed and annoyed by how many steps LEGO can fit into their build process

31 steps down, 45 steps to go on something that’ll be like 7 inches tall by 5 inches wide at the end.

Should try putting it together with no instructions…

Just wait until you get to the end and are missing 1 piece.

I feel like the old lady in Happy Gilmore who says her fingers hurt before pulling landscape duty

That’s a great build. One of my sons buys the $150-$200 builds and they turn out fantastic with great detail.

LEGO has definitely dumbed down their instructions. Each step is now overly simplified. One step from an 80s set would be 10 steps today.

I have the same Senna model. Apparently you can order the correct period specific stickers for it.

You think that's bad? You ought try an overpriced kids swingset from costco.
I think i could have framed a house quicker than put that damned thing together. I spent about an hour working and about 20 hours trying to find the right damn bolt or board

Wouldn't you feel sort of cheated if it was too easy? Like getting Wordle on your first guess?

... I bought the Red Bull car yesterday for my grandsons --- he can put those kits together in a flash . The last one he did was the new Batman bike. Put it together in 45 mins.

We got a set during the early months of Covid so the kids would get their arse outside more. That fricker took me two weeks by myself as I would do a few hours here and there. The sunroom of our house was the staging area for all the lumber and hardware and even trying to stay organized from the start turned out to be a huge pain in the arse. The worst part was the roof slats.
