That's not the way ads work.

I was getting it every other refresh last weekend. So roughly 2000 times Saturday alone.

It will go away once you finally stop resisting and buy the virus scanner.

I have tried all of the online suggestions for removing from McAfee popups from Safari. Hasn't worked and seems odd that I only get them when on Tigerdroppings.

Hamsters must be off for the holidays.

No…they’re working. But Chicken went the cheap route and got H1B hamsters from Bangladesh, and they’re useless.

Thanks for posting this, it’s started happening to me this week and I’m glad I’m not the only one it’s happening to. Pretty damn annoying…

That's where I was getting them. Just on Safari on my phone.

Hard reset your phone.

Press the up volume button, then the down volume button, while holding the button on the right side. You have to do this quickly.

Release the down volume button and the right button when the apple icon pops up.

That will get rid of it.

Download and use Brave browser. You won't see any ads, anywhere, except on very rare occasion.

It's a full-screen pop-up, you can hit F11 and close the thing. But then download any free ad blocker. I use Adblock Plus.

My Norton prevents the McAfee scam from redirecting my browser, but I get a warning every time it tries and have to hit the back button.
