Brother was a healthy 36 year old. He caught it going on vacation in Florida. It almost killed him. He ended up running 104 fever only able to breathe when he was lying down.
I have no desire to go through that.

I worry for my wife because she has an auto-immune deficiency.
I worry about the long term health impacts if I get it. I feel confident I'll recover from it should I catch it, but we still don't know a whole lot about the long term effects, and that is worrisome.

I got it about a month ago.
Spent day or so with fever and leg Aches.
7-8-9 days of no smell or taste
I still have a lingering cough with some light mucus.
Wife tested positive thurs ,,, about 17-18 days after I had symptoms.
She’s had pretty much same symptoms. Chest hurting a little she said, I didn’t have chest pains.

I’m worried I could lose my job because my daughter’s daycare has to close for two weeks every time there’s a positive test. She also can’t go to daycare with any kind of cough or a runny nose.
And the closings could be stacked. Kid 1 tests positive so everyone goes home. Two weeks later they reopen. A week later kid 2 tests positive so everyone goes home for two weeks.

The economic impact it will have on the country. And most importantly to me, the quality of education my two elementary school-aged children are going to receive. I feel they will absorb and retain more information by physically being in school and have less distractions while trying to learn on the internet at home.

My wife is my only concern, she's an RN working for a nursing home. Definitely don't want her coming in contact with the virus. Other than that, I'm not worried about COVID.
