That's why smart people drive with caution to minimize that risk.

Nothing wrong with being cautious in this scenario too

That wasn't the point of my post. The person I responded to says he worries about the virus killing him. My point is why worry about that when there are thousands of other ways that will more likely be deadly to you.

Living your life in fear isn't very healthy.

I understand your point and I agree folks shouldn't overly worry. We do however take steps to be cautious without even thinking twice about it.

I know I could die but I don't consciously put on my seat belt anymore. It's just normal

Agreed. Being concerned or worried about something doesn't mean you are living in fear.

loss of taste and smell...not being able to enjoy my bourbon for weeks, possibly months is way more horrifying than a few days of fever and chills

this 100%

I don't know if my wife's store will survive this

I also do not want my daughter to basically miss 2nd grade

I also worry about my parents getting the virus and the possibility of them being hospitalized without anyone being able to visit them

Brother was a healthy 36 year old. He caught it going on vacation in Florida. It almost killed him. He ended up running 104 fever only able to breathe when he was lying down.

I have no desire to go through that.

It hasn't affected me much and probably won't

I have a cousin who has a medical issue that has not left her house since March - that worries me.

I worry about all the deaths do to the government reaction that on one will ever bother to try to track.

What troubles me most about the virus is the country’s response both by elected officials and citizens to a “disease” that has infected 1.1% of the population and killed .043% of the population. To self-cripple an economy over something so small and to change our every day lives over something so small and to cower as a society is really troubling.

US population- 331M
Cases- 3.83M
Recovered- 1.12M
Deaths- 143K

What worries me is the people that have gone full blown nutso worrying themselves into a depression thinking they are going to die if they see someone not wearing a useless piece of spun polyester over their face.
