You're not alone. I don't get it either. Actually, I don't get how crazy some people get over a set of plastic beads. You go out there and see the way people act over a set of beads (like somebody just tossed a $1 million dollar diamond necklace). It really is ridiculous. I'm talking knocking old women and babies over, pushing them out the way, snatching out of people's hands, etc. It's sickening.

Thank God they took the ladders away... the crime was getting out of hand.

Meh.
It's getting to a point these days where I don't see near as many people that give a damn about them. When I'm riding, I see people just throw them on the ground when I throw them.
I'm almost to the point now where I only want to throw footballs, stuffed animals, and some big beads.

It is a lot of fun throwing little footballs to people sitting on porches or trying to throw through open windows and doors, etc.

It's the exact same reason people go out on Friday nights with tent frames to mark their tailgate spots on campus.

Yep...

I just started throwing light ups, plush toys and T-shirts, beads are a waste... I have one bag of "recycled" beads..

Frisbees are fun as well, to throw in open windows..

Question

Are they picking up ladders, tarps, dead bodies, and all the other trash 6 feet from the street in the ghettos currently?

Ok, good. Same thing though. I don't get why people go so crazy over whatever is being thrown from the float. Be it beads, toys, footballs, stuffed animals, big beads, coins, whatever.

Doesn't change the way I look at it.

That's funny you mentioned that. I dated a girl from Denton Texas. Her dad said the same thing until he actually went to a parade. He went bat shite crazy for throws, was like a kid. Funniest thing I've ever seen...

What does that have to do with anything? they are still fricking stupid.

And you sound exactly like the people the thread is making fun of.
