PSJ and CSB are so much more enjoyable. 30A has been a shitshow for a long time now.

I just bought some land in PSJ headed towards Mexico Beach.

However, the appeal of 30A is the ability to ride bikes everywhere. To be able to rent a cottage and not a 18th floor condo

Yeah, I guess that stuff just doesn't move the needle for me, but I could see how people would like that.

The Penningtons have a place there

It’s for sale and gaudy as al hell. It’s on a huge piece of real estate and most likely will be redeveloped. Land is too valuable for just one mansion.

Why don’t people just go to Ft Walton Beach?

It’s the same sh*t.

I make 82k a year and can afford to vacation there it’s not that bad

I make less and have 4 kids. We vacation there and have no issues affording it. It’s not even close to being all that expensive

Scruffy thought 30A had something to do with marathons.

This. We like Rosemary Beach and it’s really a pretty good deal. Nice condos/houses, good places to eat within a bike ride, but still spread out enough to feel like you can have some privacy.

Half the frickers that hate on 30A are going to that shite hole, Orange Beach.

I mean...I don’t see 30A getting more scenic than this, and I save a three hour trip.

I'm not a 30A person.
Never went to the beach as a kid, but I've taken my kids every summer since 2004 and bounced from Gulf Shores to Sandestin . It is what it is and I don't fault anyone from having their favorites.

Fact is in the 2002/2003 time frame and the 2008/2009 time frame there were great deals to be had. Loved that time and I have some friends that scooped up some condos at great prices during these times.
Now the market has become hot for the last three years and those that took risk are making bank. Good for them.

If you just compare sand and water there’s probably very little difference between fort Walton and seaside. It’s the rest that’s different

And where is the 3 hours from?
