Work at Mickey D for a year or two, learn how to cut the mustard, move on to Whataburger.

I still believe this. When I first got my plant job (only req HS diploma), I worked with a crew of 4 guys who had been there for a few years each.

I use to go out and perform our job, and the 4 other guys would screw around and falsify reports.

One day, regional comes in to do a spot check and all 4 guys get fired on the spot....2 didn't even have work boots, one guy was wearing bedroom slippers.

In one year, I got promoted twice and doubled my salary just by doing my job. I think I could do the same at McDs.

I have two degrees now making way over double what I was promoted to years ago....but I actually liked my job more doing that less professional but more interesting work

If I could go from where I Am today from intelligence?

Millionaire in three years. Easily, it’s holding onto that money at an early age that brings difficulties.

With my life experience of working 20+ years of demanding jobs, I think I’d be a very good worker at McDonald’s if there was incentive.

For example, if I wasn’t eligible for a management job with HS diploma, I may lose work ethic quickly.

Show up on time
Give a shite
Work hard
Don't have a kid before you can afford it

Do those things in this country and most anyone can achieve at least a lower middle class living, which is far, far better than most of the world.

I'd learn everything I could about fixing the shake machine and sell my fix it videos to McDonald's nationwide.

Thanks for clearing that up, the scenario was confusing until you explained it.

Do I get to retain the knowledge, experience, and work ethic from being a manager at my current profession? If so, I’d be GM within 2 years and district manager in 4 tops
