Pretty certain I could find a way to live a comfortable, safe life in any of the following: Morocco, South Africa, Kenya, Egypt, Senegal, Tunisia, or Guinea. Still amazing how so much of a continent can be so unlivable though since, well, pretty much forever...

Probably Namibia. Stable country, half-decent economy, used to be part of South Africa, has a fair amount of racial diversity by African standards.
