If you had Bezos like money — what would you do to spruce up your hometown?

For me in BR area, I’d buy up the shite hole apartments in Tigerland and bulldoze them and make the area new and respectable again.

I'm in New Orleans so probably hire about 100,000 police officers to fix the crime.

Not my home town but the hometown of my mother. I would bulldoze Tallulah and convert the whole area to just farm land.

Whatever I did would be called racist and white flight because my hometown is in the process of becoming St George. Not letting a bunch of worthless fricks sponge off an unincorporated area is apparently a war crime.

I'd commission a new task force to study the inequities of our communities of color in order to start a new committee to ensure our at risk citizens are able to thrive in our community with the help of our faith based leaders.

I really thought that whole department should have been disbanded after Katrina and reconstituted a couple of years later. Changing the fricking shirts was not an adequate answer to the cowardice and mayhem those crooks perpetrated.
