I love the Devils River. Also, like parts of the Pecos River near Ozona.

Somewhere on the MS Gulf Coast. First choice would be Bay St. Louis on the north side of the railroad tracks. Ocean Springs would be my second choice. Easy access to the VA and military medical care at Keesler.

Headed to Friday Harbor on San Juan island in about a month. Cannot wait for the trip.

Maine. Or New Hampshire.

I can live anywhere in the US I want as long as I have a decent airport within an hour-ish away and broadband internet access. Cost of living/housing and population play a big role as well.
All that said, we recently left Colorado Springs which was outstanding for many years but has become unlivable for us due to the increasingly poor infrastructure not keeping up with explosive growth not to mention the state trying to out-do california and oregon in a race to embrace the far left ideology. We looked extensively at options in southern Utah, New Mexico, Idaho, northern Arizona, Eastern TN, and NW Arkansas and settled on a new home in northern Wyoming.

. It is a place none of you have ever heard of called Sautee, Ga. It is in the North Georgia Mtn.'s just outside a little town called Helen. Paradise.
Umm yes I’ve heard of Sautee and have been to Helen, GA (small German town).

Tennesee is where I'll be. Last year we bought 25 acres in the tri-state area. Have a purchase agreement on another 10 acres nearby with a small home on it. We love this area.
