Tonight, watch the film “Down By Law.” It will answer all your questions.

It’s amazing to me how many fugitives pick Key West and the Florida Keys. At least once a month they pick up someone wanted for murder in a place like Indiana.
There are more city, county, state, and federal LEO people in Key West than there are bartenders.
It’s way easier to hide in NYC.

These guys are not smart. They are probably all hanging around the Midcity or something.

Where is the prison located? That will have a lot to do with my answer.

You don’t think they’d stick out in a small town? And have less resources to work with.
I mean, they couldn't make the ghetto life work in New Orleans. So, yeah, I don't care for their chances in Pigeon Forge, TN.

OP's mom's house. Cops will not go there, and the backdoor is always open?

I’d probably try to sneak into a train car or roof of a truck to try and get as far away as possible. Then I’d go to a homeless shelter with a fake name to get some footing and work out my plan.
Grow a beard, dye my hair and claim to be an illegal from Equador to see if I could $1,000 and a free plane ride.

It looks like they’ve gotten like 3 in the east since that one in the quarter that was hopping on his friends social media this morning.
Dude was legit doing fresh out of jail posts before the escape was made public

I've always thought if I was a serious criminal I would keep a hideaway spot somewhere nearby, like an apartment rented by a dummy corporation that is stocked with canned food and supplies. When it's time to run from the law just go there and hide for a few months and never walk outside. First, cops will assume you're running far off so they will focus on that and second, after a while they just quit actively looking so you can plot a proper escape and relocation/new identity.

A trailer for sale or rent. A room to let $.50.
There's was another.
