Thank you. I have to explain this to people all the time. I'm sorry they think their POS "crossover" is an SUV when it's not. It's nothing more than a lifted Camry.

So the old Jeep Cherokee XJ is not actually a real SUV in your eyes? It's just a POS crossover b/c it's a unibody?

Someone told me once that you can't get a 4Runner with KDSS in the Gulf States Toyota territory.

Thats a shame and hopefully just a temporary supply issue. KDSS is great tech, especially if you are serious about off-roading but want more every-day comfort than a Jeep Wrangler.

I have heard nothing but horror stories from people with those new GCs. From the first model year to recent ones it's ridiculous. Couldn't make up some of the shite those people have dealt with.

Like what? I have a '14 w/32k miles and have had no issues other than having to take it in for the shifter recall caused by people somehow being incapable of understanding how to use it.

The XJ gets a pass. Those f****** were rugged.

But do some research on the damage and corresponding expense associated with trying to even *moderately* 4wheel with the latest Grand Cherokee. Those things are lifted cars not made for ever doing more than driving on a muddy dirt road.

Hope you leased....great looking vehicle but FCA products have the build quality of wet garbage.

Mine must be on steroids or something then. I'm not crazy enough to try rock crawling w/it but it has handled quite a bit more than a muddy dirt road on multiple occasions.

Oh i know, it gets an unnecessary amount of hate. I never see any on the road in LA, but Houston is lousy with them.

If the Toyota 4-runner is so great why does Kia sell more Sorentos? And the ford explore is the one that more people buy?

Because they are cheaper.

Is that a real question? If so, are you retarded?

Yeah that was a sophisticated primer. I love his use of psychology and deep understanding of the role of the dealer finance officer. It's like he is playing 4D chess. Would read again.

I got one last November (2015). I already drove 25,000 miles because I love it so much. I take camping trips on the weekend even if I have to drive 5-6 hours to get there. I drive everywhere.

4 runner will be our next major purchase.

Can't do any better as far as reliability and resale value, unless you get a Land cruiser.

When factoring in resale and reliability, I think they are a pretty solid deal. Definitely not cheap, but not ridiculous either.
