I don't see what wearing a mask to protect your face from a ball has to do with wanting to be treated equally in the slightest stretch.
Is there a rule that says men can't wear one in baseball?
This is a really dumb thread.
And for the record, I never one time asked to be stuck working all day. I still have to maintain a house and raise a child on top of that so by all means take me out of the work force as long as I've got money to make it through life.

Slow pitched? You are not very bright, are you

Using an exception to make a point is rarely a good argument. Watch any fast pitch game and the SS is likely not wearing a face mask.
The picture you posted is a first baseman and he is wearing a helmet

No way.

As a pitcher, I agree. Simply stating it's pretty dumb for a shortstop to wear one. Was just an observation of the picture. I have have no idea if that is common place in softball.

Yeah and if you used that to start a thread about baseball players wearing helmets in the field you’d be as big of a fool as OP.

Why is the shortstop wearing a mask then?

You ever seen a lesbian lick cooter with her mouth wired shut

Damn I don't know that even when I was a young man and had flea like reflexes I would want to stand what, 40, 45 feet from that woman and have her throw a softball toward me as hard as she could.

It's for when a tranny hits a line drive at them.

I never thought I'd say this but look at the arse on that second baseman.

Because paying 40$ for a mask and wearing it is much cheaper than paying emergency and surgery bills.

The baseball is likely moving much faster

The real question is why isn't she wearing cleats?
