In my line of work i often see elderly couples who have been married for decades. Most are near the same age and met in high school or college, and come from similar backgrounds. The more similar 2 people are, the more likely it is to work long-term.

Have to love made up statistics. They should have made it something more believable because given ~50% of all marriages end in seperation/divorce, that number being 3% is completely absurd. It's blatant things like this that make people start to realize the news isn't for reporting, it's real purpose is to push an agenda and mandate or modify public policy. And that leads to apathy and a loss of trust
3% more likely than couples of the same age. Not a 3% chance/probability of separation.

I agree here with the stats. After about 4 years things start charging and before you know it you don’t know a rap artist pre 2004

Depends on your bank account.
Honestly. 10-12 years gap between the two?
Maybe less? Find someone that actually wants to be with you each day. If you feel like you can be with that person each day also, be honest with each other and live life together.
Actually no one knows how things actually turns out.

Imagine being 20 years old and getting in a relationship with a 45 year old who is smoking hot.
But then when you are 35 she is 60, which might not be that bad, but then at 45 she is 70.. If she kicks the bucket at that age, then you can get yourself a girl who is 25ish.. and that might be the way to do this thing.

Older women are some of the sexiest women.

Ok, then the writer is misleading the general public in it's use of statistics as one form furthers an agenda. How often do you see likelihood ratios listed as relative rather than absolute probability outside of finance/math/sciences? A large proportion of readers aren't even aware of the difference between the two

Once you're an older successful dude, it's cheaper to rent it.

assuming women in mid 30s, if the woman is 5 yrs older than the guy then it has the best chance of working since she is less likely to be fricking around like a ho and is more focused on the relationship than meaningless daily BS

So, just how big is too big of an age difference?
i think 10 yr difference is about the max, beyond that, its hard to relate to each others journey through life. you are just not in the same place mentally

Sure, men age better, but I also think an attractive 36 year old woman that's married to a 51 yr old man will also be getting attention from 36 year old men.
Daddy got let wifey cuck him by hot-wife-ing.

I5 years. Funny that the study didn’t mention that if the age gap is over 15 years, men tend to live 8-10% longer.

My wife is 10 yrs my junior.

10 year rule still applies. It depends a lot on the people in the relationship of course, but it really helps to have some common background and memories of cultural events etc.

The woman should be half the man's age + 7 years
I thought this was more of a limit than a target…meaning don’t go lower than this.
Which makes me wonder….do women have a rule that they shouldn’t go older than twice their age minus 7?

What should the ideal age gap be for a casual sexual relationship to ensure she doesn’t sneaks in and boil my pet bunny when I leave my home ?

TLAT Mrs Lith is 27 years younger and we have a great relationship.

When you mention your favorite rock band and she’s never heard of them, the gap is way too big.
