Because it’s odd she heard dog barking and commotion upstairs (and roommate say someone is here) then saw a stranger dressed in all black and a mask slip out the sliding glass door. It concerned her enough to say she was “frozen in fear” and she locked herself in her room. But, police weren’t called for 6+ hours.
Anyone with a lick of common sense or a brain would have immediately checked on their friends or called the police. I could see not coming out for a few minutes, but 6 hours, something is off, drunk or not.

There are fairly lights in all the bedrooms and that common area on the 2nd floor. Don't think it was pitch black. Going of the social media they all had fairy lights on at what seemed like all times.

If the dude can afford a good attorney or good attorneys do the case for free or reduced he can walk. Remember OJ and Claus von Bulow. Though DNA evidence is much stronger now. The cell phone evidence is damning as well. But if he can afford Alan Dershowitz he could walk. After OJ walking nothing is impossible.
Not sure the retard pedophile is as on his game as he use to be.

sample of a Ka-bar USMC Fighting knife with sheath
you can see an example of the button snap that they got his dna from
those poor kids in the dark had no idea what hit them
I cant imagine the sheer terror they must have felt
just makes me sad, especially seeing the TikTok video
I have a 22yr/old daughter that just finished college and they were silly and fun just like my daughter’s friends

Did not read the affidavit.
You should read it. It provides tons of info. The news stories are basically Cliff notes, and tell minimal info.
Imgur Link to the Affidavit
Understand that it will not answer every question that anybody can come up with. They held back plenty that they know.

Here’s a link to a virtual tour of the house that will give you a more accurate idea of where rooms where located. Also - the story going around that I’ve read about him supposedly hanging their entrails from the ceiling fan can’t be true - unless ceiling fans were installed after this virtual video was made. so with one of their phones on tiktok at 4:12am and the police saying the murders were before 4:25am, are we to believe that this dude did all of this killing in 13 minutes all while in complete darkness and leaving no blood trail from his shoes? Oh and one of the surviving roommates sees killer in house after hearing thuds and crying, but doesn't think to go check on her friends. She is so scared that she locks herself in her room until the next day never thinking to call police or even text/call someone else outside the house to come over?
lots of questions that hopefully will be answered in the future.
It does not sound like the lights were off and it sounds like DM and or BF was up around the house till around 4am to know enough to tell the investigators everyone was in there rooms by 4am. Then there is the Door Dash delivery at 4am. How fast did Kernodle scarf that food down.
All the oddities around this crime is what make we follow it and want to know how it all happened.

D.M. and B.F. both made statements during interviews that indicated the occupants of the
King Road Residence were at home by 2:00 a-m. and asleep or at least in their rooms by
approximately 4:00 a.m. This is with the exception of Kenrodle, who received a DoorDash order
at the residence at approximately 4:00 a"n (law enforcement identified the DoorDash delivery
driver who reported this information).

Agreed, was saying this to my wife earlier.
New digital camera security systems, cell phone, and trace DNA is what caught this guy. He isn't on their radar without those things I don't think.

Yeah I wanted to mention that earlier. Very weird by the timeline. Unless she chose to save it for the next day.

Just went down this Facebook rabbit hole of Pappa Rodger apparently in a Facebook group dedicated to the murders being suspicious as hell.
Is that all real? The more I read about this, the more freaked out I get.

What makes no sense to me is the girl with the dog. Why would she lock up her dog in her room but sleep with her roommate in another room?
I remember being a college girl and we would after a night out all pile in a bed together so we could talk and laugh until we fell asleep but why wasn't the dog with them?
Can't help but think had that dog been in the same room with those 2 girls they would be alive. Killer would have run from the dog. Damn.

I was never really sure what the first floor plan was (the one labeled 2nd floor and top floor with pics of victims)and can’t read a lot of the handwritten notes on it. It supposedly came from property manager, but without stairs to third level it almost seems like original plans before deciding to add a 3rd level above kitchen, foyer, and the bedroom where Dylan was. Scaling in that article also made it appear like 3rd level fits over entire 2nd level instead of just rear half of 2nd level. It does get it right that the side of house for Dylan’s bedroom isn’t flush with den wall for that same side of house (sits a little inside how far den extends out to that side).
Looking at house from front and from rear give different impressions of house set up inside, but from sides it’s more like front half of house (entire 1st and front of 2nd) fit together and the back half of house (back of 2nd and entire 3rd) fit together.
The floor plan you included for 2nd floor is better with cameras matching some of the pics from its previous listing that were still online initially.

Did any credible source say the food was consumed? The timing seems to suggest he kilt them while they were eating.

Doubtful.

What makes you think he wouldn't have killed the dog? Unless this dog is fricking huge and/or an aggressive breed, that dog isn't scaring him away.

This is a really good point I hadn’t thought of. Was it confirmed if they ever actually GOT the food? (Yes I read the affidavit but I don’t remember this being explicitly stated)
Door dash wasn’t around when I was in college but I could see myself ordering then passing out before it actually got there.

He left the sheath with his dna on it. Dylan also saw him.
The affidavit was just the information needed for the arrest warrant, there's more the police could have.
If they didn't get him on his already dumbarse frick ups, its possible there's more out there.
The biggest ticket item missing is why were these girls targeted? Maybe the police know or maybe they don't?
Seems hard to believe the survivors knew, considering the fact that the parents were pissed there wasn't more being done by the police.
I still think its possible madison was the main and only original target. Kaylee just happened to be in bed with her at the time, so she was killed also. Bryan comes down stairs to exit, and Xana was up in the kitchen eating or whatever. Xana runs to the bedroom and he chases after her, kills her and then kills the BF. At that point he's ready to bail and runs out the door, somehow passing Dylan by.

SIAP, I'm ten pages behind here and I stopped to read the whole affidavit (which I can't spell).
The only thing I found explanatory, was why he changed license plates from PA to WA four days after the murders. His PA license plates expired the end of November and he wouldn't be back to PA until Dec to renew them.
OK.
Maybe he overlooked that with the excitement of moving to Washington. (I had my parents renew mine one year similar overlooked the expiration date.)
Or.
Most / many states require you change license registration within a month of moving to a new city (he did, I think I read this, change his driver's license to WA, so why did he postpone the car registration change?)
Or was that he didn't want front and back license plates on his car for a reason?)
