don’t you do it! don’t you fricking do it.

I gotta go find a trade in because my wife’s Lincoln is crapping out. I just spent $2k on removing trees from my yard. And need a root canal. Now it’s not the fricking time.

There are a couple of potential scenarios that don't involve the Gulf. Quick development and gets pulled out north through the Islands. This solution is supported by a fair amount of the 06z GEFS members. The other option would be it stays weak, races across the Caribbean, and runs aground in CA. This solution is supported by a cluster of the 06z Euro EPS members. So it's not a slam dunk Gulf storm.

Consider this my annual vote to lock one of these threads and only allow posting privileges to Duke and RDS.

This thread has only been open for an hour and it already feels worthless.

Eh, there's nothing of value to post right now anyway. Storm is nearly 9 days out on whoever it hits if it hits.

The mean of the GEFS this morning was outside the Gulf.

Im not really buying the weak scenario with how yoked the upper levels should be.

TD8 could become a tropical storm but likely to stay a depression. It's a possible race to Gaston vs Hermione. It'll be one of them though.
