Can we not turn this into a political fight about climate change. The hurricane itself is bad enough.

I love the amount of downvotes that self proclaimed hurricane and weather experts get in these threads

Could be back to Cat 1 by second landfall. From NWS: "Ian could be near hurricane strength when it moves over the Florida East coast tomorrow, and when it approaches the northeastern Florida, Georgia and South Carolina coasts late Friday."

What’s with all the downvotes? Honest question, hopefully it kicks out to the Atlantic.

9 might be protected from going completely off line because of the water and might stay up after the eye passes maybe

Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. Hurricane Track had them go under before and come back. They even had one go down when the pole it was strapped to fell during Laura and it kept recording for a while. Unfortunately, I don't think he ever got that one back. Someone had to cut it off of the pole it was on and steal it.

Someone mentioned camera 9 being 9 to 12 ft above the ground. Can anyone verify this?

I can't believe there are no other cams up and running with all the development down there.

I want to see where this river water is flooding out into Ft Myers proper, please.

Mike Seidell has shown it a number of times on the weather channel.

Poor Tuscany. Disney isn't accepting check-ins at their resorts.

This is through the 30th, too.

If she grew balls, my aunt could be my uncle.

Current advisory says TS, wishcasting won’t change that.
