18z GFS with another slight bump westward. This allows for dry air to overrun the system as it approaches landfall. A rapidly weakening system into the Panhandle is way more desirable than a Major into Tampa.

A major water mover right into Tampa would be absolutely catastrophic in terms of property damage. For the sake of all our premiums I hope we see a weakening storm into the Florida bend area (assuming a gulf landfall is unavoidable at this point).
