I won't willingly give LSU the crust off of my shoe. No way if trust them with a family heirloom.

After the Middleton fiasco, no fricking way.

That Middleton situation would keep me from donating anything. They handed that situation about as bad as they possibly could.

As we get to a point where young adults were either too young to remember 911 or wasn't even born yet, I think it would be something special for them to see and a way to honor your relative.
But if I were you, I would make sure that if they ever make any chances that you feel is disrespectful to these items that you will be able to get them back.
Every institution will do things that people associated with will not agree with. Times change, things will change with the times.. But that doesn't make those changes bigger than the institution.

Not that I'm worried that they would treat him like they treated Middleton. Its just that LSU's actions have been pissing me off the past 2 years, and I've been distancing myself from it.

I think it’s SL.
Is there a pentagon exhibit at the 9/11 memorial in NY? As woke as that city is, they won’t ever touch that memorial. Also, anything in Washington? Smithsonian? I honestly don’t know. But I wouldn’t trust LSU, especially after the Middleton debacle

Or how about his high school?

They removed his name from the library because of a letter he wrote 50 years ago regarding integration.

From what I gathered he was pro segregation from a practicality stand point that later came around. A lot of people in those days were raised a certain way and then changed their stance. He appeared to be one of them. Without his contributions to LSU they would have gone bankrupt and ceased to exist. He didn't have to come back out of retirement to pull together their finances but he did. His name is still on the ROTC building at Mississippi State. LSU and Louisiana bad a while is corrupt and crooked as shite. Now the woke crowd is taking it another direction equally as corrupt if not more. I really wish they would get their shite together.
The gas can problem started with a lawsuit in Lousiana. The reason we have shitcans for gas is literally because of money grabbing Lousiana lawyers. They are the worst in the country.

I think you should tell them that unless they issue a formal apology to Middleton family they can GFT.
