I think the OT can own stock and I will start one.
We can call it OT Shoppers Only Choice.

We can get suggestions for what we sell from our stockholders which is you guys.

Liquor, tobacco, zig zag papers, 2 pk cigars, and bread. We will not have fruit and vegetables as that stuff would rot from not being bought.

We will take EBT and have fried chicken made from cake batter plate lunches.

Oh, yeah we need a person to sell bootleg CD’s infront of the store. If we have two people selling bootleg CD’s would that make us more appealing?

We will offer neighborhood tours to SJW’s that feel sympathetic to NBR cause on Sat from 11am go 1 pm. No we do not have valet parking you SJW’s that is a car thief car jacking you!

is there not a single bank that would invest in something like that?

The complete lack of grocery stores doesn't give you a hint on this?

Too much competition. The news said there is a lack of grocery stores.

Most of the grocery stores in NBR didn't close while making tons of money. A business wouldn't pull out of an area if it was successful.

Groceries are a low margin business and given the amount of theft and resulting higher prices your potential customer base will still take the bus to the Cortana Walmart

good luck getting people who don't buy anything out of your store. Thank Starbucks.

The good news is they'll make your non-gender bathrooms look like shock and awe!!!

When a business takes EBT, do they get back the full market value? Or do you get back only a portion, like how Medicaid pays doctors 80%?

Seriously. I just got a reminder in why I don't go to the store on the 1st or 15th.

Just open a convenience store that sells bread alongside 40’s, zig zags, phillies, and black n milds.

Don't forget the CDs, or would that be an extra items sold outside?

It's hilarious that their first inclination is to go to the city when they want a grocery store in their neighborhood.

Is there something preventing them from starting their own store or courting a national chain to build?

I just watched a story on channel 2 about the city councilwoman of that area taking for ever to find a store that simply had bread.
I saw that story.

My first thought was if there is such great demand for a grocery store and since there's no competition nearby, why doesn't she build and operate a new grocery store herself?

After all, it's guaranteed to make a huge profit, right?
