Most “auditors are attention whores looking for money. Some started that way but have transitioned to doing some good… I’d love for the existence to not be warranted but to many high ego, low intelligence LEOs out there making the vast majority of good cops look tyrannical.
The main issues are always small towns where they think they’re gods who are the judge and jury

There are more good cops than bad, but more lukewarm cops than both combined. The lukewarm if they were more like the good would weed out the bad. The issue is the lukewarm have the tendency to go with the flow, and are more susceptible to be hardened by what they see and encounter.

Police have one of the hardest jobs, I truly believe the good cops should be rewarded and appreciated for their efforts.
The reality is you often get what you pay for, and 30-50k a year to be in constant mortal peril isn't going to attract the best of the best. That doesn't mean throw money at the department. We've seen what well-funded departments spend their money on; luxury police cruisers, new SWAT gear that gets used once in a blue moon and BS that has no return on the investment.
Auditors have their purpose but they also are not all created equal. You got some annoying turds in that space that are just looking to make money. The way I look at them is they expose corrupt departments with poor training and a lack of ethical standards.

We have many, many great well-trained police/sheriff's departments in the United States that do a wonderful job of keeping their city or country/parish safe
We have many, many poorly well-trained police/sheriff's departments in the United States that do a terrible job of keeping their city or country/parish safe.
Those departments can be right next to each other or many miles apart.
Blindly supporting or hating police officers is just plain dumb.

I had a run in with a nut job cop. I pulled into the wrong lot at the airport. I then turned around in front of where he was parked. Perfectly legal move but this mastermind thought it was suspicious and pulled me over.
He asked me for my license. I reached into my console and he flipped out. He starts screaming “what are you reaching for”. I seriously almost laughed because it was such a stupid question. His asking me for my license and his screaming was probably in the same breath. Literally instantly after asking for my license he was screaming. Complete moron.
So I realized he was serious pretty quick and raised my hands and turned towards him. He was still yelling something but I kept my hands up and yelled to his partner, an older guy, “what’s wrong with this guy”. He didn’t say a word just shrugged like he saw nothing wrong.
Unfricken believable. If you dont want someone reaching than dont ask them to produce anything. Blinking and snapping my fingers doesn’t work. Id have to reach no matter where my license was.
There are cops that are too scared to work a peaceful quiet airport in a small city. Let that bitch work inner city for a month he would piss himself. I still want to beat the crap out of that fig.

I was in the camp of ‘why mess with a guy while hes at work’ when it came to the auditors. In fact, it’s been kind of a golden rule of mine for my n tire life. And some of them clearly push the envelope and make it clear that we need new laws regarding recording and drones and stuff. But, after watching some of these cops demanding they stop filming on public areas and even public streets, I’m convinced its a necessary thing.
I appreciate all the good cops out there more after seeing and experiencing some of these nutbags walking around with a gun and badge.

I like watching this guy's stuff. He acts pretty stupid, but he's not confrontational like most of the auditors and because of that lures government workers into some pretty damning situations.

We saw during covid they were ok arresting mom and grandma pushing their kids on a swing in the park bc they were "just following orders"
