I had my second shot, yesterday. How long does it normally take, before you start feeling like crap ?

Not everyone does, in my limited experience.

I think it is wise to have a healthy level of skepticism about the vaccine’s efficacy, long term health effects and the many ways it can be used to abuse the rights of citizens, PARTICULARLY any kind of MANDATORY employment, participation or travel database. As for the latter of these three, I think it’s so screamingly obvious, I am actually surprised that more people aren’t alarmed.I mean, no matter how you feel about the vaccine, these are big issues and there should be robust debate.

They've literally been using mrna vaccines prior to covid for the flu, rabies, and the zika virus.

quote:Why? All 50 states have required many different vaccines for children to attend school. This has been going on since vaccines were invented. Likewise for travel to/from certain countries. Why is it a big deal now?

People are afraid of mrna type vaccines since they haven't fully been studied yet in humans. The way they vaccinate is inherently different from traditional methods. Human trials, from what I could gather, go as far back as 2019 but for other illnesses.

It's scary to them. The human body is strong and very resilient. They act like COVID won't kill us yet the vaccine somehow will. We, as humans, are situationally strong in their eyes. So dumb

That’s simple. Because job opportunities, travel opportunities, employment opportunities may be limited based on whether people have a vaccine or not. And because requiring people to produce a health record is in violation of every known HIPPA standard that our society has. I mean, c’mon that’s not to hard to understand that health bureaucrats can misuse private health information in any way they choose for any reason they choose.
Also -we are talking about American citizens living and working here- different countries isn’t the point. If other countries require the vaccine, that’s their prerogative. As a frequent international traveler, that’s precisely why I personally chose to get vaccinated.
But because I chose the vaccine doesn’t mean my neighbor should have to .

Sorry for calling out your fundamental misunderstanding of what HIPAA is.

It’s cute in a naive robotic way that you think The State will not penalize those who opt out. I’ll bookmark and remind you down the road as our civil liberties are eroded in the name of Fundamentalist Covidian hysteria.
