Lulz, charges were dropped, yet you're still arguing they were correct.
Absolutely, charges get dropped all the time. Anything else irrelevant you want to tell me?

Just go back to your KKK gang bang. I bet you love that BBC.

fricked up what those cops did
Hopefully the cops are reprimanded and Patrick doesn't get in anymore trouble.

I usually side with the cops, but frick these cops..bunch of pussies on a power trip..didn't read the thread, how the frick can the cops justify tasing a guy whom they wrongfully identified and who was well within his rights?
frick those cops
The only thing I think this dude did wrong was retreat into his car.... Looked like he COULD HAVE POSSIBLY been going for a weapon... Like someone else said if they were going to taze him, that MIGHT have been justifiable
But still, it should have never gotten to that point and that was some terrible police work, and they usually get the benefit of the doubt from me

I'm pretty sure some people just see a cop dealing with a black guy and automatically assume it's the black guys fault no matter what. The cop did nothing right in this situation. Sure Patrick could have handled it a little better but what do you expect him to do when some hot head cop comes onto your property and treats you like crap?

"I just saw my probation officer"
and people wonder why profiling exists yet want to just make it go away because its' wrong.
Police could have handled much better.
Patrick could have been way less defensive...
And he never said "this must be a mistake"
"Here is my ID"...be proactive in assisting the police.
but when you're on "probation" I guess that makes you think long and hard about helping the police.
ID is always the first thing police ask for...
they asked him his name and he took a long pause before saying "Patrick" and didn't give his last name.
So I could see where they didn't believe him.

this kind of thing happens more than you think. They never apologized either, fricking sad!!!
Did you miss the part "I just saw my probation officer" ?
This is a reality more than you think for police
Go to a local court house....It's crawling with the profile that no one wants to deal with, society just want it to stop
It will only stop when young black males better choices.
Granted, this young man was doing nothing at all, just sitting in his car on the driveway minding his own business.

you ever been arrested in your yard for doing nothing wrong
No because I would know that I hadn't done anything wrong, therefore I would comply with the officers demands because I would assume there is a misunderstanding and we will clear it up.

No I haven't ...I think it would humiliating and horrible
But what are your choices?
Black people want it to stop...
well, start marching in the streets protesting the young men who break the law and murder each other...
Stop bashing the law and law enforcement...
.... making it impossible to have a positive change

You realize Patrick wasn't the one with the warrant. There is literally no way to argue that anyone other than the cops are most at fault considering they had the wrong guy.
Do you realize that it's completely irrelevant that they had the wrong guy. They had to talk to him to find out if he was the right guy. If a suspect starts acting erratic the police have to get the situation under control before they look into things any further.

No. Because I respect authority and actually do what police ask of me.

It's not hard... Give the police your name, get out the car as soon as they ask you ... Don't give them attitude ... Say yes sir, no sir ...
This exact thing has happened to me before ... I don't understand how anybody can side with "Patrick" in this video .. Dude acted like a punk bitch in this video and got everything that he deserved
