Yeah China is weird. Homogeneous, hyper intelligent civilization that now values capitalism and eventually (hopefully) western values. They’re not raging, retarded drunkards like the Soviets. They’re a real threat. But cuddling American manufacturers will not help.

Dude the 0% is only bc they already baked your supposed savings into the price tag of the car (higher price but better optics on interest rate)

I really wish BYD would be allowed here in the U.S. to give the American Auto Manufacturers some much needed competition.

And before anyone says "well China will be spying on you". You know what, if they can build and sell a reliable electric or hybrid vehicle for $20-$25,000, THEY CAN SPY ON ME AS MUCH AS THEY WANT!!

I'll honestly feel bad for the Chinese person spying on me. They'll quickly realize my life isn't that exciting and they definitely won't be getting any state secrets.

They would undercut and tank the US auto market.

They will also never be allowed in.

Unions destroy the individual worker. It’s a socialist model. I’d hate to be a part of one.

If you’re worried about financing, you can’t afford it. Scratch it off your list.

Is Kiffin able to be hired and fired at will? If no, why not?

Maybe the U.S. auto market needs to be undercut. Prices for U.S. vehicles have become insane. And that's because they have little competition.

If they can't compete, too bad. Free market.

And as long as the current setup is in place, I will never buy a vehicle by a U.S. automaker out of reliability concerns and principle.

I would love to see most Americans do the same thing. They' would be forced to change if no one buys their vehicles.

You realize BYD is highly subsidized by the Chinese government?

BYD would come in to shut down US auto manufacturers then take their market share. Now all your money goes to China.

They also employ literal slave labor. Not low wage paying 3rd world, literal "chinese" slaves in camps.

You’re buying from a shite company that has unions. In other words, that company has lazy employees with guns pointed at Chevy’s head, which has become a breeding ground for entitlement, added costs, and unreliability passed on to the consumer…. Why? Because unionized employees can produce questionable quality without
recourse

GM Capital made close to $13 billion in profits last year and the CEO made $30 million.

Half of their vehicles are made in countries outside the US with labor that's a tenth of what a non US union worker makes.
