I worry sometimes that LA has become a state of handouts and government subsidies

Thank Obama for his MPG standards that have us putting small-arse engines in tanks like Expeditions

Ex wife bought a 19’ platinum Expedition, 84k sticker I believe and the extended warranty to 100k miles. Warranty just ended 4 months ago. Engine making a rattling noise when it starts. Mechanic said it’s needs cam phasers and timing chain replaced. Very well known problem with that v6 eco boost engine. 8k fix. Almost 90k invested and couldn’t make it to 90k miles. Pretty sad.
I believe it, but most buyers of these American car companies will never learn because they trade them in for a new flashy one before seeing the result. There’s a reason they depreciate so quickly—years and years of data.
I’m pro buying American products, but American car manufacturers will never learn unless you stop buying their shite.

Had solid GMC and Ford trucks. Had a solid Traverse, believe it or not. 250,000+ on all. But the current Ford Truck with that bullshite 10R80 sucks a fat dong. Going to need work on it before 130k.
I buy Lexus for everything now besides that truck.

Thank you for being honest. Was completely against the bailouts so American manufacturers could restructure and get their shite together long term and compete without protectionism.

Respect on the tax loopholes that will likely be above my head, but we’re talking about normal baws that work a 9-5 without equity in a company.
Nice crawfish. You weren’t talking 9-5 workers when you talked shite about selling his fleet

So… CEOs should make millions at the workers penny’s? Why being in a union automatically make you lazy? Your against workers?

Ok, I can follow some of that.
But I’ll reserve judgement until I hear your take on the National Auto dealership Associations and how they lobby to keep manufacturers from selling direct to consumer. All that talk of “add costs” and “entitlement”, let’s hear it, hoss. Let it out.

There’s no such thing as 0%. You’re subsidizing it with the purchase price.

I made a post about Chinese cars in May and the OT wouldn’t have it because they rather pay more for less

I personally avoid electric and prefer driver sports cars and a Tacoma that hauls motorcyles. But I’m a simple baw.

I was in China during May and their infrastructure and cars were great
