This couch is awesome. Too heavy for my whore and her mother to steal.

Whatever you decide to purchase...PLEASE have to delivery people haul away your old couch...don't leave it on the nearest corner like the morons in Livingston parish !

If you had ever tried to legally dump large trash or have it picked up in LP you would understand why people do that. There’s no pickup service and even if you haul it there yourself to pay $200 for the privilege of legally dumping, half the time they are closed when they are supposed to be open.

Mayo is top quality and made in Texarkana. You can special order something and they will have it done in 2-3 weeks when the rest of them take 6-8 weeks. They have this Revolution fabric that is stain resistant, you can clean it with soap and water. Great if you have kids or pets. They also have a lifetime warranty on the frame. Their prices ar very agreeable compared to other stuff the same quality. You can get it at any Ivan Smith Furniture if you're in Louisiana.

Bernhardt and Flexsteel is also great stuff.

Town and Country furniture, in the hood on Airline, used to carry really good quality furniture. Don't know if they still do as it's been about 10 years since I've been in there.

You can buy something like Hancock and Moore or Bradington and young and it will last your lifetime, but it will cost. I think our Sofa, chair and ottoman were nearly $8k delivered but we have picked up other furniture from other top tier brands shopping used. It is a Hancock and Moore set with unimproved leather and maple frames, it will out last my family.

I don't want someone's used couch. That's just a notch above used mattress to me

Thanks for the replies, I'll do some searching based on responses.

I've found there is no such thing. Either spend the money or accept a couch that falls apart in several years.
