I am not big on cold climates but on the top of my list was Nashville but I just figured I would get bored there after 5 or 6 months. I still may try it one day.
My GF is originally from Indonesia and still has a house there so that my be an option in the future as well.

We are getting out while my son is still young and before he starts school. Offical move to Knoxville, TN date is May 18th. I can't wait.

I like Knoxville. My wife used to own a business here so we were pretty attached to the area. We sold it a few years ago so that's no longer the case. My daughter is almost in HS though so I'm not planning on uprooting her at this point.

Live in Orlando now. Do construction work for the theme parks. It has its flaws and there are things I miss about Louisiana, but I much prefer it here.
