That’s the only positive I can see.

I'm an RN at a hospital and was offered the vaccine by the hospital. Asked if it was mandatory and was told No. So I said "no thank you". Was I wrong? Is the Rona coming for me? Help me my brothers. I get a second chance next week.
According to every news outlet hospitals are understaffed, so you have the leverage. I wouldn't take a rushed vaccine if I had to snort it off Paige Spriranac's arse.

You think they have more technology than the ones who put this dimed size scar on my left shoulder for life ?
I remember marching in a line to get "the gun" vaccine

What did they rush here that they usually don't? I've yet to see this detailed.

This thread is another reminder of how dumb the general public is...

It's truly scary. I learned about the Dunning Kruger Effect years ago and see it on display here every day.

I hope SEC football stadiums make the vaccine required
I want to see if it’s possible for a rednecks head to explode

No worries. You probably won't die. Hope you don't give it to one of your patients and they die.
Hey, question... if that happens, can you / your hospital get sued?

So you can speak to the limitations that Pfizer didn’t? I’m all ears. Go ahead and discuss the statistics regarding averages, standard deviations and margins of error of the behavioral processes of the participants. Also, please discuss the endogenous covariates that were likely to arise due to participation. Did the trial analysis go through univariate or multivariate analysis? What was the statistical design of the results? Was it modeled as a stochastic process? Please fill me in on all that Pfizer didn’t.

Everything. Got it dickwad? They rushed everything about this vaccine, and yes, I’m gonna get it. But you on here calling people dumb and yet can’t figure out what was “rushed” about this vaccine is truly moronic.
Most vaccines take 10-15 years to develop and the fastest ever prior to this was the mumps vaccine which took 4 years from isolating the virus to trials to approval. Has tech improved? Yes. Are we in uncharted territory here though? Yes. Moron.

Had a chance to be a part of the most incredible medical breakthrough of our time, and instead choose to listen to a bunch of dudes from Bunkie, Louisiana online.

So what part of this was rushed?

A lot of the research that went into this vax came from research done for SARS and MERS. Which was done years ago. They dusted that off and went from there.
Is it still the fastest ever to market? Yup. Sounds like good ole "Merican ingenuity and hard work!

Without a doubt. You'll probably drop dead by the end of the month. Better get your affairs in order.

You voted for Trump.
This is not something that really falls on one side. You really think all the “chemicals are bad”, all vegan/organic, only natural is good types are overwhelmingly Trump supporters? A number of those types are already skeptical of vaccines to began with if not straight up anti-vax. They feel the vaccine is rushed. Some people blame Trump because they think he rushed the vaccine. And of course there are a number of the skeptical types that are Trump voters.

I think a lot of the people quick to label others as, "anti-vaxxers" are being jackasses. Most of us would take a vaccine if the virus was dangerous to healthy, young, people. But to treat this virus as if it's the next, "Spanish Flu" is disingenuous at best and dishonest at worst.
There's hyperbole on both sides of this issue, but I'm a natural skeptic. I'm not going to be swayed by fearmongering. The level of panic that people have over this virus is simply irrational. There's virtually no danger to the average person. To suggest that we all should blindly take an experimental vaccine because the CDC says so, is ridiculous. I'll wait until the usual protocols are followed and the data is collected. If people that are high risk for serious complications of Covid-19 wish to take the vaccine, I'm glad they have the opportunity. To attempt to intimidate the general public because of mass-hysteria is just more FUD propaganda.
