Wrong. No one in the Pfizer trial died of covid. Either the vaccine or placebo group.

I know a few colleagues who are also holding off.
Also, they don't even know how long the vaccine will be effective.
Getting covid doesn't protect you forever either, we have already had 2 reinfections.

Declined mine as well. Hospital getting it next week. Only 1/29 people in department elected to take it and she’s in her 60s.

Two BNT162b2 recipients died (one from arteriosclerosis, one from cardiac arrest), as did four placebo recipients (two from unknown causes, one from hemorrhagic stroke, and one from myocardial infarction). No deaths were considered by the investigators to be related to the vaccine or placebo. No Covid-19–associated deaths were observed

Having significant concern about a potential statistically relevant difference in behavior between two groups of 20,000 people to the point where efficacy is overstated (or whatever the concern is) might be the dumbest thing I’ve seen in these threads

I’m probably weird but I think I’d take it if given the opportunity. Not because I’m worried about Covid at all but because I’m sure it’s going to be required for nearly all international travel and I’m ready to dust off the passport and go places.
