I agree with the OP. SiL can pound sand. It's my home and if I will be in the decision making process for shite like this. She should go stay with her parents.
And if she's thinking about divorce, then she should not leave bc his attorney will file for abandonment and he will get the house and everything in it. If she's not married to the guy and is just shacking up with him then she's likely trash...so the answer is the same. Not in my house.

How many weeks of vacation do you guys get? I had 4 weeks +1 day at my last job, I changed jobs 6 months ago and I have 3 weeks at my new gig. I get 4 weeks at 5 years.

I know the posters on this site though. He created this simply to brag about 4 weeks vacation. He added that and the word "only" to piss off people. He's full of shite and this probably never happened.

I'm leaving for the smokies thurs, and my wife's side of the family is going too. So, they can see each other plenty at the end of the week. I need my first 4 days to get work done around the house and go places with the fam. And have alone time with the wife at night..... Don't wanna share that time with others when I work 48 weeks of the year. That's what weekends are for. But, she can come any other time during the summer since I will be working and we can support her. Her husband treats her pretty bad

I know a guy who had a hard arse job, was on call so could never drink, etc. Had 4 weeks vacation that he had to take together. So he took a month off each summer,
His wife would plan all kinds of projects and chores and shite all year for him to do on his vacation. He handled it okay, but I would have said frick those chores. My arse is chilling and drinking and doing whatever I want. And don't even think of inviting your relatives over.

My wife and SIL understood, and my wife took the blame. Went pretty well. I guess I will see how things go later in the week
