What an oddly specific observation.

The documentary skewed the mom's story for dramatic effect. Truth is mom was a crack head when Anthony was little. She was a terrible mother. They gloss over her effort to 'get my son back'
Then later in episode 3 they gloss over how the cops 'took my baby from me' and make it look like she was wronged by the cops and the family court judge.

It's great that she's in Anthony's life now but she was a piece of shite mother when he was a kid.

BR didn't really know he existed, the cops couldn't do shite because AJ kept telling them he wasn't abused.

I think his attorney and Hillar Moore were the heroes here.

I hope that young man gets every break he can, he deserves it.

I think his attorney

He's representing the chick in Hammond who's trying to get custody of her kid from the baby daddy who raped her.

The person in whose car Anthony’s attorney was riding at the DUI checkpoint was named Shannon Bottoms. I wonder if she is related to those criminal brothers with tattooed faces who made videos (Shark Life Entertainment) while incarcerated.

Watched it, it's entertaining. Attorney is heck of a nice guy.

I would've liked more details about the actual abuse he suffered from his father. All they said was he was controlling and had to know everything, not many specifics about arse whoopins.

Did we not watch the same show? They didn’t say she did drugs, but it was pretty obvious she was an ex druggie. The voice. The trailer. The stories of the past. Etc.

was also a project engineer, now retired. Burt Templet looks very familiar, like I have seen before, just don't know where. Does anyone know some of the plants or companies he worked for? Did he maybe go to car shows? Dude looks very familiar.

I met him at Dow in Plaquemine in 2017 working for B&R don't know much about him before that.

The podcast “Sword and Scale” latest episode is about this case.

The podcast has additional details. I think the documentary did the DA office some favors and made them look not as bad as they could have looked.

Maybe she got on drugs heavier after she took numerous arse whoopings from her husband then had her kid taken from her

I'll have to listen to the podcast, thanks for the info. I thought the DA's office was in a pretty tough spot. They have to follow the letter of the law to a point, in the end justice was served.
