I've tried many times to get into rap music and it just doesn't grab me at all. Most rap music is garbage to me. Sample a song by a better artist from a different era, swear every other word, rap about drugs, guns, money and pussy, call black women bitches and hoes, mumble some shite that no one can understand, etc., etc. There are some exceptions, I like Outkast a bit and Kanye is on another level. But rap is a lot like country music, most of it is hot garbage.

If that makes me a “boomer” than I’m ok with it.

I’d rather be a “boomer” fed up with culcha than some white guilt whatever the frick age you are that accepts it.

Goddamn. Not even bothering with the OT attempt to hide both racism and ignorance.

Lemme guess. You also hate the gays, the Mexicans, Jews, anything but missionary with the lights off, and anal.

But I bet you watch a lot of incest.

Same here. For better or worse, the only true “new” music being made right now is rap. There’s very little original music being made in other mediums.

It is a form of entertainment. Like watching a mob movie, it doesn’t mean that you support their lifestyle or want to be like them.

Rap, and the culcha that follows is the antithesis of decent society.

I’d be clever and say “change my mind”, but society and statistics have proved reality time and time again.

If all you think rap is just guns, money, drugs, and hoes, you obviously havent listened to any of it. Guys like Kendrick, Gambino, and Chance are all putting out quality stuff with lyrics that actually say something

Right? And old country songs are full of shite like murder and revenge and cheating.

Here’s Porter Wagoner singing about drunkenly stabbing his wife and her lover to death
