Work sucks like 100x more. School is a joke, dont feel a shred sorry for yourself. The past 6 months have been like finals week for me, and its not getting better anytime soon

I'm actually the opposite. I loved college and all but once I got a job and was able to provide for myself, I was way happier than I ever was in college. Real working world > college

I'm the same way, granted I worked 8 years before ever starting college. I enjoy not being broke all the time, plus I'm married, so there's nothing appealing about getting hammered at the bars since I can't sniff out strange.

And I hate you for not appreciating your time in school. I would fight a bear to be back in college for just one week.

I take work home like 3 times a year. You shouldn't have to unless you really suck at your job or you care too much and can't leave work at the office. Having a long stress free career is all about a balance of being good at what you do but not caring enough to let it run you.

Starting a thread about how much you hate school when you only have about 4-weeks left is similarly dumb...

I agree with you. I sometimes think of upcoming work items I have to do, but 99% of the time I'm enjoying family and the season's activities.

To the OP: ENJOY school! It will be over way too soon and you'll get to enjoy grinding out a living.

Did you go back to college as an adult after you graduated a few years before? I can thoroughly say that college is only fun when you're younger. It fricking blows when you're older. I'd rather be working 80hr weeks

work is much worse...having to work a minimum of 40 hours a week vs. taking 15 hours of class and going to about 6 of those hours and copying most homeworks

yeah give me college

Being in school is the best time of your life. Once you're out of school then real life begins.

This is true, although I also love money. It's a dilemma.

I love school so much that I'll probably go back in the next 5 years or so.

My biggest thing is how little freedom I have now. No matter what, I'm stuck inside for 8 hours a day, and if I want to do anything in my free time, that doesn't start until 5 PM. In college, I had 3 day weekends and I had chunks of time throughout the day to get things done and spent a lot more time outside. Plus there are more responsibilities and taxes and financial responsibilities, etc. Meh.

I DO like how my weekends are mine. No exams or feelings of dread looming over me. It is nice making an income and I do like the people I work with. But the mandatory sitting inside all day is a huge buzzkill.

Report the bully to a teacher or other trusted adult. You don't have to suffer.
