Pork and chicken still aren't bad. Beef is super high.

USDA Choice strip steak is $12.99 / lb at the Kroger on Memorial Dr.

Yeah but then you’d have to eat a New York strip.

Seafood, crabs specifically, are high as heck now.

8 ounce crab is $26. Use to be able to get double that for that price.

All of this inflation is because of Dem policy.

Govt paying for able bodied people to sit on their arse instead of heading back to the meat processing plant, trucker job, restaurant gig, etc.

The political ramifications of this will be interesting. But if there's one thing I know will always hold true: At least half of the middle class will always vote against their own interests.

Maybe carry a grilled cheese sandwich around in your fanny-pack just in case?

I don’t know how lower end middle class families can handle gas, groceries and housing all going up at these rates

It’s real simple. I don’t buy steaks when they are $15.99/lb like a clueless idiot when I know I can find top sirloin for $7.99/lb.
I don’t buy chicken breasts for $4.99/lb like a jackass when I know I can get it at $1.99/lb.
I don’t buy pork loin for $8.99/lb like a woman at Target when I know I can get it for $2.99/lb

As long as dumbasses buy normal items like this at these ridiculous prices, they’ll keep selling it at those prices.
Know the price of common items and stop paying double what it’s worth, idiots.

Live somewhere with good hunting and fishing. Pasta, grains, beans, etc are pretty reasonable. It doesn’t take much room to grow spinach, lettuce, herbs, etc.

$26 for bacon at Costco. $49 for two chuck roasts.

Get a friend to go in half and go to a butcher and each buy half of a cow. I hate freezing meat as much as anyone but it's much cheaper and the meat isn't processed and bleached like in grocery stores.
