It’s a gorgeous day. The bag is secured. Happy Mardi Gras! See y’all Tuesday.

I wish I could drink outside on this beautiful day without dealing with the trash and hassle of Nola during Mardi Gras

Oh wait

NOLA was fun in the 90s but I have no desire to ever go back

Yeah, nothing as fun as it is when you’re 20.

I feel bad for the turds that are too young to have experienced how awesome NOLA was in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s.

My wife dragged me to Endymion, first time for me in years, 3 hours before it starts and I’m already pretty to go .
All these people out here to catch worthless trinkets .

I'm out at Endymion since today is a beautiful day and even though I'm enjoying myself, I can understand why one would stay clear of Mardi Gras. The older I get, the more I wanna stay away from large crowds in general.

Been there, done that. Cleaned the front of our townhouse every Ash Wednesday. And the neighbors' if they hadn;t come back to do it.
If I get too nostalgic, I'll sniff some spray on Lysol and follow that with a snoot full of Bleach scent..
