The GOAT video of Sailing is of him performing it live in an Earl Campbell Houston Oilers jersey.

Perhaps you look for more rocking songs. Cross offers "Ride Like the Wind" for that. I recommend your checking that out.

Cross was high on LSD when he wrote the lyrics. "We were living in Houston at the time, and on the way down to Austin to record the songs, it was just a beautiful Texas day. I took acid. So I wrote the words on the way down from Houston to Austin."

Wild story behind ride like the wind.

Throw on some Christopher Cross or the like and take 5 breaths man. A lot of the stress we feel is in our own heads.

1,000% agree. Henley is a brilliant artist. “The End Of Innocence” is an all time classic.

We call that the Yacht Rock life. Life is good.,

Funny enough, I just watched a video that came across my YT timeline, that picked the Most American songs (songs that were HUUUGE in America, but never or barely charted outside of the US). Almost every Yacht Rock song was in that group, including Sailing. As a genre, Yacht Rock surprisingly didn't have international appeal.

Country music tho had far & away the most offerings as a genre. Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats" actually took home the title of Most American Song considering the cavernous ratio of how well it did here vs how poorly it did overseas.

The lava lamps are lit. I'm in my beanbag chair eating homemade popcorn popped in bacon grease. Listening to 10CC. Life is good.

Truth.

I get that millennials may not get it, but as someone born in the 70’s I love it. Peaceful and brings you back to a better time.
