2005 Acura TSX for $1900 at 198K miles.
Needs both front wheel bearings, master window switch (driver side and sunroof are only ones that open) and a power steering pump. Also need to clean the shite out of it.
Figure I can flip it and sell for $4500 or so. Profit about $2000 after parts and insurance/tag fees. Maybe use it for Uber a little bit to make some easy side cash.
What say the OT?

Sounds like you live in a trailer with 3+ old lawnmowers in the front yard

Like the show Wheeler Dealers, but you don't know what your doing and don't have a TV show!

Sounds like it could be a great primary car. Why flip it for only 2k profit?
You could save more than that in gas costs, insurance costs, tag fees, etc each year.
Sell your other car and then profit.

It’s too old to use for Uber. Uber has year restrictions of vehicles before you can start driving.

It's a 2005 which is the oldest model year Uber will allow.

This was my last car and I drove it up to 183000 miles. I loved it. I had fog lights, a spec lower suspension, bigger rear sway bar, upgraded brakes and awesome continental dw tires. It wasn’t fast, but I loved the way the motor revved and it stuck. It had some body roll around corners but gripped so well for a sedan. I will always miss that car.

My wife had an 05 TSX. Fun car to drive. Plus it had a huge navigation touch screen.

Can you use a car over 10 years old for Uber?

You can check Pull a Parts anywhere near you to try to find the small stuff.
