Brotha, you’re gonna be alright. As the saying goes, “this too shall pass”. You’re far too young to have real issues. Perhaps this is more of a wake up call. Call me naive but at 56 you’re just hitting your stride!

That's not really how neglecting your health for decades works

Why do you lard asses let this happen?
Why don't you ask the countless pro athletes how it's happened to them?

True story…. I once had to wear a heart monitor for 24 hours when I came home to visit for a weekend. I was in for 3 days and decided to squeeze the cardiologist appointment in while home. I had an irregularity come up and he asked that I wear this monitor for the next 24 hours. I agreed but what I didn’t really think about was that I was only In town for a buddies bachelor party which started about 6 hours after my appointment.
Let’s just say the follow up to review the results was interesting. My heart activity between 1am-4am was very abnormal for a sleeping adult. I had to come clean with my doctor that I was not actually sleeping

Hope your son is well. How old is he now?
Thanks. He is well. He will be 17 in Sept.
When he was born the top two chambers of his heart were not formed properly - which is common.. once in a while he’ll have a weird ekg so they check it - but not in the last few years.
How is your daughter?

6 feet, 250ish. Been fatter, been skinnier. I ran a lot before the knee arthritis did me in. Tore ACL playing HS football many years ago, and the cartilage finally withered away. I need a knee replacement but am not in pain and want to make it til I’m 60.
Blood pressure is low. Cholesterol is ok. I am generally healthy but for this weird heart flutter that has come on lately.

I hear ya. May need to take up swimming due to the bad wheel. I stay pretty active myself and certainly hope knee trouble doesn’t catch up with me.

Hopefully the monitor shows the doctors if you have any issues.
At 45 I had an undiagnosed arrythmia - Afib - which led to a mini-stroke for me. At the time the doctors didn't know what triggered it. I figured it out: caffeine and dehydration. Once I understood what the issue was and how to control it, I was able to live normally and have had no further issues. Learn what you can.

This is how you know you're old as frick.
When you find yourself comparing notes with colleagues on their most recent colonoscopy prep/experience, then you know you are old AF.

She's turning 13 in September and very athletic. Loves playing soccer and is about to start softball.
She never needed the surgery. Terry King, MD. However much money he makes, it isn't enough.

I had an AED put in after going into cardiac arrest when I was 27. Heart problems can be scary, but if you live a healthy lifestyle, youd be amazed at how quickly things can turn around.
