Why Kelly would take less….

It all comes down to the single lump sum payment.
A) Time value of money says that a lump sum today is worth more than a structured buyout over many payments/years.
B) It allows him to work elsewhere with out a salary offset that is in his contract.
It’s not as much of a stretch as it seems

Central is correct
Pinnacle garage isn’t bad but it can be slow getting out of sometimes. It’s convenient. The parking garage at Music City center is further walk but might be easier to get out of.
Park downtown in a paid for garage and walk across the bridge. It will suck if it’s raining but I always get out quickly for titans games

1 horse goal oriented should be on the lead. Pimlico plays well to speed. Sandman should be up for a much better race on the dry track today.
Looking to play an exacta box today with those 2 and Journalism. Obviously hoping to beat the favorite though

The problem is that LSU is not an attractive basketball school. The fanbase does not show up and the SEC is tough to win in. I don’t think LSU can afford to gamble on another mid-major coach. It worked with Wade but not with MM.
Personally I think SW follows his usual MO which is to swing at a big proven name. Top of my wish list would be Brad Underwood at Illinois but it would cost us $5mil + to even get him to an interview.

Anything new on this front?

Reverse tolerance is 100% true. I would have blackouts after 4 beers.

No real trigger event (thankfully). For a long time was just fed up waking up the next day after being irresponsible (driving, arguing with spouse, not remembering conversations). Eventually just decided that I wasn’t capable of socially drinking and I didn’t want to throw my family, career, etc away for something so unfulfilling.
I always imagined getting in a collision where someone else was seriously injured. Even if the other driver is 100% at fault. You blow over and your life as you know it is ruined. Once you finally realize that then it’s a no brainer.

Guy on left is wearing a blazer. I don’t think they were coming in after a hard day in the plant

Yeah facilities can’t help but once again that’s a cash problem. We have proven to have endless supply in other areas. We spend more on fired football coaches then we do on an entire decade of basketball salaries

What is holding LSU back from being able to throw enough cash around to grab someone elite?
Even Wade was not highly sought after when he was hired.
Is it a lack of investment, interest, or possibly lack of local basketball talent that holds this sport back so much more than others?

re: PENN spent $551 million to purchase Barstool. Sold it back to Dave Portnoy for One Dollar.

Extremely lucky. Penn got a deal so great from ESPN and the exposure they offer that it was worth it to them to punt entirely on Barstool and what they invested.
Truth is that Barstool was a terrible deal for Penn that was doomed regardless. They are thrilled to part ways in lieu of trading barstool for ESPN regardless of what it cost them. Still a great deal for PENN.

Agree with Big Chill. Not a bad golf cart ride away

July 4th in Vicksburg is known not as we know it as Independence Day. It actually goes by “surrender day” there as it was also the day that the city was surrendered to the Union army many years later
The cities in our country would look much different had the other side won. It is no coincidence that the countries most famous historical cities are primarily in the north
