I am taking a Diversity in the Workplace class as an elective right now

My god...it's all cancer. I've already been "corrected" by other students because I said my idea of diversity and acceptance in the workplace is not that there are minorities there but that there should be nothing keeping minorities and women from succeeding in the workplace.
Apparently I am speaking from a place of privilege and there needs to be more women where I work.

Ask them if diversity is so much better than a bunch of white guys working together, then why must the government make up arbitrary rules and regulations to artificially skew the market place in favor of women and minorities just so the can try to keep up?

You're gonna hate it anyway so you might as well play a game with yourself. Start off subtle and eventually get more radical and see what kind of ridiculous shite you can get them to agree to. Work your way up to "I think white people should be fired and black people given their positions"

Is this the one where the professor preaches hire the best and brightest, and when you bring up the idea of gender and race blind resumes/applications based on the theory of hiring the best and brightest they run you out of class?
