Well you're just not very smart.

My god...it's all cancer. I've already been "corrected" by other students because I said my idea of diversity and acceptance in the workplace is not that there are minorities there but that there should be nothing keeping minorities and women from succeeding in the workplace.
Privelege can be a very subjective term as life experiences vary individualy.
I agree with your premise, but it seems objectively incomplete.
Nothing should stop minorities from succeeding in a workplace is valid. But in order to test this, minorities need to be employed in said workplace. As long as their is a merit based hiring system, I stand with your hypothesis.
Obviously, they need to be qualified. Most rational people won't argue that. Just like most rational people would say an unqualified white person shouldn't get a job because of family nepotism.
You see what I did there?
I wish they would do away with quotas entirely and stick with merit based hiring. Because many minorities would benefit and those who don't would excel in other fields.
This applies to women as well, the MRA community has been saying this for decades.
TLDR. Your not entitled to a job because of your sex or race. And your not entitled to it because of family heritage either.

Fixed. This is the predominant philosophy of classes like this. It can be proven by trying to suggest gender and/or race-blind ideas then watching them get trounced with the quickness.
You’re not factoring in human psychology. First, people tend to be innately prejudice against others who they don’t automatically identify with. There isn’t necessarily any malice, but it leads various social issues. Second, having lack of diversity in perspective leads to group think. If you begin surrounding yourself with individuals from similar backgrounds, then you are likely selecting for a particular confirmation bias.
Again, think of the psychological aspect here where having people from different backgrounds allows ideas to be more readily challenged.

Ask them if diversity is so much better than a bunch of white guys working together, then why must the government make up arbitrary rules and regulations to artificially skew the market place in favor of women and minorities just so the can try to keep up?
That should go well.

All completely irrelevant. Most qualified gets the job, no matter their background.

Not asking for it. That's why I said merit based hiring.
I understand certain places have specific requirements. But here is food for thought. Would you rather have people working for wages to take of themselves or be tied to a welfare system that inevitably will tax BOTH OF US to take care of them.
Until we have government reform in welfare, we will always have "soft competition" between business and the welfare state.

If I’m a business owner, I just want to hire the person who will do the best job and provide the most value to my customers at a competitive wage. I don’t give a shite if the person I don’t hire sits on welfare, that’s not within my control outside of the ballot box.

Id go with white people should be forced to work for free, with only Govt providing food and housing, for at least 100 years to atone for slavery

So it would have been smarter to schedule a class that I have to put a lot of effort in to when I am taking 21 hours while working full time?

You are treating affirmative action vs. unemployment as a zero sum game. It's not, and that's very racist/sexist of you to think that way.

I would have to take summer classes or another semester. I am taking 18 hours for my final semester in the fall.

I once asked a question in a graduate level education class and was told I was wrong for asking. All I wanted was an explanation for something discussed in an article about feminism because I sincerely wanted to better understand the concepts.
They said the only reason I was asking for an explanation was because I was a white cisgender male who wanted to understand something so I could control it. Patriarchy and racism was inherent to the privilege of being a white male or something.
