Maybe I’m still living in the 20th century in a peaceful middle class suburb, but no woman ever expects to get hit by a man, so anytime a man does (and knocks her down), it’s a sucker punch
For that to be justified, he would have had to be somewhere where he couldn’t walk away and couldn’t show restraint (and where people better equipped to handle the problem like police didn’t exist) He would have had to feel like he was under threat of harm from a woman smaller than he was. If she was trans it would have been said

I’m not a huge fan of all these hippie environmentalist placing massive regulations on companies making it virtually impossible to be economically competitive, but I think everyone can agree throwing trash on the ground is stupid and harmful. She got what she deserved.
